Welcome to Sunny Acres Pet Resort -- your pet will enjoy boarding and playing in our cheerful, relaxing, country-like setting located on 14 acres just outside Durham city limits. We are the area's only boarding kennel that has acres of fenced outdoor fields for your pet's playtimes. Your pet can frolic with other canine campers or have their very own play yard, all under the supervision of our trained and experienced staff. Our yards are full of toys, balls, wading pools and all kinds of fun. We also have the largest kennels in the area and your pet will love staying with us!

We are dedicated and devoted pet lovers. Most of our customers return because of our genuine affection for animals and for our commitment to the highest of standards in pet care. We pamper your pet with lots of love and personal attention. We know a happy pet makes for a happy owner. You can have peace of mind when your best friend is in our care.

Our guests are so happy staying with us because we go to great lengths to understand and provide for their needs. Our managers have developed a staff that excels in keeping our guests comfortable physically as well as mentally. We are also certified by the Red Cross in Pet First Aid and CPR.

Our kennel buildings are equipped with state-of-the-art air purifiers. Around-the-clock camera surveillance and an employee who lives on the property provides the utmost in security. All buildings are air conditioned or heated.

We offer tours of our kennel and play yards Monday-Friday 11am-4pm and Saturday at 12:15pm. It is helpful for us if we know that you are coming. (We do not give tours on Sundays or during Holidays or at the time of check in.)
